Hi Bev, have found myself subscribing after deciding to check you out more, acting upon my urge to give you an endeared hug for your unbridled assertion on GBNews this morning that you unequivocally hate tattoos! Ditto. But couldn't quite believe you said so, in such outright manner on air.
Tattoos might be superficial subject...but they signify deeper attention? If only to glean why we feel so strongly about them!..and how we fail to understand the mentality of particularly those who go "wall to wall" in etching themselves.

There have to be better terms than 'girly swot' (or 'geek'). Statistics can be really useful to help learn what is going on - 'due diligence'. But what is 'going on' is political decision-making. A decision has been made and evidence has been found to support that decision. A rational choice would involve a cost-benefit analysis before making the decision. But that is often not how decisions are made.

I keep coming back to your 'Welcome', which I view, in and of, itself,
as an innovative " Swim against the Tide".
You finely collated "the Bev state of play" in your mind enough in
January, to express what you needed to "put out to the world". That
was your shared snapshot of Bev then...which i suspect encapsulated
significantly your baseline orientation, intent and spirit of
engagement with the world....the latter which involves us, (allies,
afficianados, fellow warriors?) here... keeping abreast of your public
appearances and appealing written mix of analysis and 'the personal'.
But your Welcome also indicates willingness for 'conversations' (I'm
gently chiding you a bit here..did you get the small package via
Cobley Harborough?)
It is now 7 months later...and I for one am specifically interested,
(exercising an element of my ongoing 'loyalty') to add to the
conversation, which involves all of us who care more than a hoot for
ourselves and broad humanity, who take on board to the nth degree that
we are caught up in a cesspit of a world that is getting increasingly
toxic and harmful to anyone with a notion of Sovereignty of self,
anyone with a notion of something like an ascension out from the mire.
(I was reminded of the cesspit, as if i can forget!, having just got
notification of a video, [the link i put right at the bottom of this
post]...which will blast home to you Bev of the odds stacked against
you speaking your mind on the mainstream visual media!)
Knowing of the pervasive existence of the cesspit is one thing, but
then from there a comprehension can alight from digging in and
exposing to oneself the noxious gases within... to be combusted.
Anyone reading that sentence can interpret it as you will, but for me
it has meant getting a better understanding of human history, the
'whence we came'...then identifying how we have been psychologically
trapped in the delusion of our lot (ignorant of the underlying
cesspit).
Just the other day i also learnt of Sherri Mitchell....who imparts
great wisdom of how our inner urge for 'conquest' etc is so deeply
imprinted in our dna because of the thousands of years 'litany of
unworthiness' constituted by the brutalising repeated colonisation and
genocidal behaviour we as human race have instigated or
suffered...well worth a ponder of her deep analysis...see link below

But from there, where do we go?
I think Bev you do a great service in voicing your heartfelt opinion
in opposition to what you see, and feel in your gut, going on. In
effect, you are a rallying 'wake-up' caller...there is a needed role
for that.
We ideally all need help each other to maximise our cognitive
abilities, but surely there has to be scope for more than that, to
access our innate brilliance. We cant just intellectualise our way
ahead, we cant just intellectualise to overcome the threats to our
wellbeing. Our hearts need firing as well as thoughts, and in that
sense playing a role is insufficient. We arent going to get out of
this mess unless we truly foster our being true to ourselves...and
that involves being really,really, unflinchingly, true with each
other. It is demanded of us to circumvent the sham world, and create
our own reality independent of that.
So I come to the last video i share here...re Evolutionary Consciousness.
The earthy Mancunian in you ( not the psychotherapist in you) might
roll your eyes, but i do dearly hope you are open to more than the
'grist to the mill 3D reality'...(that daily onslaught on our senses,
pitching us about, trying get us emotional in this way and that)
The 'possibility' inherent within being true to ourselves and 'within'
each other knows no bounds eh...that really struck me hearing Patricia
talk in this video. It was recorded in 2015, and my hearing it only
now has to be for a reason...yes!..to affirm exactly my personal
take...so music to my ears! (and music makes me dance...so all power
for that)
