My other comment on reading standards is this was a huge issue before you know what. Kids need to be able to read and write and do basic maths ffs. I know I sound "old school" when I say that but I'm entitled as I am old school! It's unfair to send kids to secondary school and especially Uni if they do not have the basic tools to learn and share their learning.

nice report.....i supported the health workers last Saturday in London....whilst the crowd was in the thousands, I was sad to realise the masses dont support the retention of these people, they couldn't care less, or worse they actually hate them - same people who banged pots etc...very sad for the health professionals themselves...wish more people were proactive in support
